Mission of the organization

The Pentathlon Group’s mission is to develop innovative, unifying and high-impact sports events that provide emotions and enriching experiences. As part of its mission, the NPO organizes public sports events that take place over several days, with a definite environmental impact. In order to reduce the environmental footprint of its activities, the Pentathlon Group promotes the adoption of responsible practices for their realization. The following measures affect the Quebec Singletrack Experience event.

 

Objectives

The eco-responsible event policy establishes principles and actions to promote in order to reduce environmental impacts, take into account social impacts and ensure local economic spin-offs when organizing events, in addition to raising awareness of sustainable development among participants, employees and suppliers.

 

Scope

The policy applies to employees, partners and suppliers who collaborate in the organization of the event, as well as to its participants.

 

Certification

Since 2022, the QSE is certified EcoBronze by the Quebec Cycling Federation.
