Your bike will be well taken care of by the QSE logistics team. From the day before the first stage until you have completed your experience, your bikes are taken care of by the logistics team.
In the morning, when you get off the bus at the stage site, your bike is waiting for you in preparation for the start. Pump and lubricant are available on site, as well as a light maintenance service if needed. Have a good ride!
At the end of the stage, near the finish line, a cleaning station allows you to give your bike a makeover. Hose, soap, brush, pump, lubricant and towels are provided. Once the cleaning and the usual adjustments are completed, if your bike is ready for the next day, you hand over your bike to the logistics team until the start of the next stage.
Bike logistics are offered exclusively to participants who have opted for the full service package.
If your bike requires the assistance of a technician for any task, specialists will be waiting for you upon your arrival to assess the problem, evaluate the work and take charge of your bike. Your bike will then be redirected to the repair shop where the work will be done in the evening. You will get your bike back the next day at the start, ready for the next stage. A work order, attached to the bike, will indicate the work that has been done and the cost of the service that you will have to pay at the end of the QSE.
The workshop services are offered to all participants.
The mechanical workshop also offers a turnkey option for daily cleaning and maintenance of your ride. At the end of each stage, you entrust your bike to the technicians who will clean, lubricate and inspect it to make sure it will be in perfect working order for the next stage. Optional service.
After breakfast, coaches will take you to the stage site where your bikes are already ready for departure. From the base camp, transportation time varies between 25 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on the day’s destination.
At the end of the stage, after cleaning, preparing and storing your bike with the logistics team in preparation for the next day’s stage, a coach will take you back to base camp where you can relax and shower in preparation for dinner and evening entertainment.
Our base camp is located at Mont-Saint-Sacrement High School (200 St Sacrement Boulevard, Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier, QC G0A 4S0), 35 minutes from downtown Quebec City. It is a peaceful place, in the middle of the forest, ideal for recovering after a day of effort.
Showers, toilets, meals, first aid, animation and massage therapy are offered indoors and lodging is available on site in camping or in an inn, with shared rooms. From this unique base camp, the buses will take you to the start of each stage and back at the end of the day.
The base camp is strategically located near the stages, to limit travel time.
A quiet site awaits you, surrounded by mountains, conducive to relaxation and recovery.
The experience would be incomplete without a culinary experience. Quality, variety, ambiance and originality are key elements of such an experience. The meal package is undoubtedly the perfect nutritional complement to your sporting experience. A complete vegetarian menu will also be offered.
Massage sessions are also offered at the base camp. You can book them on Day 0 during the welcome day or at any time by coming to the reception desk. The service is offered from Day 1 to Day 4. $40 for 20 minutes of massage. Relax and unwind!
Enjoy our base camp chill zone every night. Chat over a beer by the fire.
All the services are grouped inside the school in the right part of the building. The hostel accommodation is on the left side. The camping site is located a little further back. You will quickly feel at home.

Get on the bus and come cheer on your partner (transportation and meal included).
Mont-Sainte-Anne is where it all started for the UCI World Cup 30 years ago. All the great mountain bikers of the world have come here and continue to come here for the UCI World Cup year after year. No wonder it’s called the “mecca of mountain biking”.
You have to get to the top of Mont-Sainte-Anne, by pedal or by the chairlift, to discover the spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River. From there, the largest network in the region awaits you, with 125 km of cross-country trails and 30 km of downhill trails. The trails range from rough and rugged to smooth and fun. A destination that appeals to expert and intermediate riders, nostalgic for “old school” type trails.
The undisputed jewel of the Québec City region, SDM stands out for its expertly groomed trails in an inhospitable but beautiful environment where spruce trees cling to the granite of the Canadian Shield. The Maelstrom mountain trails are a real work of art, linking incredibly long sections of raw rock with tastefully carved sidewalks. The SDM sector offers equally rugged trails that are perfect for advanced riders.
Shannahan is the wild side of the Valley, where the trails blend into the spectacular natural surroundings. The trails are never far from the waterfalls, cascades and rivers that have forged the beautiful landscape. The “sweet” trails (Beurre d’érable, Sucre d’orge, Tartosuc, etc.) are the perfect spot to learn mountain biking, with easy, flowy trails through a maple grove or leading to spectacular waterfalls.
Epic and world-renowned trails are also a delight for experts, both for their layout and for the views they offer.
You’ll find the schedule and all the information for your preparation in the logbook.
See the logbookIn the “competition” mode, you can enter solo or in teams of two. In the riding mode, it’s possible to enter solo only.

Daily podiums will take place directly at the destination, approximately 1 hour after the finish of the 1st.
Cumulative podiums will take place at the Centre multifonctionnel Rolland Dion in Saint-Raymond (160 Pl. de l’Église, Saint-Raymond, QC G3L 1G4), during the closing dinner and Qué-Bikers ceremony.
In teams, the time of the 2nd cyclist crossing the finish line is recognized as the official team time.
Daily and cumulative rankings will be published for categories in “competition” mode, as well as for participants registered in riding mode. Times for participants in riding mode will be published for information purposes only in a single category called “out-of-competition”, and these will not be eligible for podium finishes.
Shorter alternative routes will be offered at each stage. Participants in riding mode may opt for these shorter courses. Competitors in “competition” mode will have to complete the entire course. Competitors from the “competition” mode taking a shortened course will receive a time penalty.
Class 1 electric bikes are accepted, but only on a non-competitive basis. They must therefore register in touring mode. They must avoid interfering with racers or hikers by excessive speed or reckless or unannounced passing.
The QSE is for serious racers as well as for the weekend warrior, who lives the event for fun and for whom competition is not a goal. When you register, you will have to choose which of these two options suits you best.
The QSE in race mode is for those who are used to stage races and want to push their limits and fight for the daily and cumulative podiums. They compete against other competitors in their age category, in teams of two or solo. They must complete the full distances of each stage to be included in the official results. If they fail to complete a stage, their results will appear in the “Out of Competition” section with those of the ride mode participants.
Forget the stopwatch, go at your own pace. Stop to take pictures. Opt for a shortened course if you don’t feel up to it. In short, have fun! You will have a chip plate like the racers, but you will not appear in the official race standings. Your time for the day is still listed in the “unclassified” section of the results.
An ambitious but achievable challenge that will leave you with your head held high. You will enjoy each of the 170 kilometers of the course, masterfully laid out by virtuoso trail builders.
