Your bike will be well taken care of by the QSE logistics team. From the day before the first stage until you have completed your experience, your bikes are taken care of by the logistics team.
In the morning, when you get off the bus at the stage site, your bike is waiting for you in preparation for the start. Pump and lubricant are available on site, as well as a light maintenance service if needed. Have a good ride!
At the end of the stage, near the finish line, a cleaning station allows you to give your bike a makeover. Hose, soap, brush, pump, lubricant and towels are provided. Once the cleaning and the usual adjustments are completed, if your bike is ready for the next day, you hand over your bike to the logistics team until the start of the next stage.
Bike logistics are offered exclusively to participants who have opted for the full service package.
If your bike requires the assistance of a technician for any task, specialists will be waiting for you upon your arrival to assess the problem, evaluate the work and take charge of your bike. Your bike will then be redirected to the repair shop where the work will be done in the evening. You will get your bike back the next day at the start, ready for the next stage. A work order, attached to the bike, will indicate the work that has been done and the cost of the service that you will have to pay at the end of the QSE.
The workshop services are offered to all participants.
The mechanical workshop also offers a turnkey option for daily cleaning and maintenance of your ride. At the end of each stage, you entrust your bike to the technicians who will clean, lubricate and inspect it to make sure it will be in perfect working order for the next stage. Optional service.
After breakfast, luxury coaches will take you to the stage site where your bikes are already ready for departure. From the base camp, transportation time varies between 25 minutes and 70 minutes, depending on the day’s destination.
At the end of the stage, after cleaning, preparing and storing your bike with the logistics team in preparation for the next day’s stage, a luxury coach will take you back to base camp where you can relax and shower in preparation for dinner and evening entertainment.
Our base camp is located at Mont-Saint-Sacrement High School, 35 minutes from downtown Quebec City. It is a peaceful place, in the middle of the forest, ideal for recovering after a day of effort.
Showers, toilets, meals, first aid, animation and massage therapy are offered indoors and lodging is available on site in camping or in an inn, with shared rooms. If the days are hot, you can cool off by jumping into the small lake in front of the Inn. From this unique base camp, the buses will take you to the start of each stage and back at the end of the day.
The base camp is strategically located near the stages, to limit travel time.
A quiet site awaits you, surrounded by mountains, conducive to relaxation and recovery. Enjoy the lake by swimming or canoeing. Better yet, bring your paddle board!
The experience would be incomplete without a culinary experience. Quality, variety, ambiance and originality are key elements of such an experience. The meal package is undoubtedly the perfect nutritional complement to your sporting experience. The abundance of fresh local products will obviously be highlighted. A complete vegetarian menu will also be offered.
At the halfway point, a special themed dinner will introduce you to one of the city's many tourist attractions. Take a bite out of the experience!
Massage sessions are also offered at the base camp. You can book them on Day 0 during the welcome day or at any time by coming to the reception desk. The service is offered from Day 1 to Day 4. $40 for 20 minutes of massage. Relax and unwind!
In addition to the incredible "rides" you will experience each day, your evenings promise to be lively! There are activities every night to keep you entertained. Trivia night, lectures, yoga, gym games, water games, campfire... a full schedule awaits you!
Enjoy our base camp chill zone every night. Chat over a beer by the fire, challenge yourself to a game of foosball or a game of skill.
All the services are grouped inside the school in the right part of the building. The hostel accommodation is on the left side. The camping site is located a little further back. You will quickly feel at home.
QSE FAN
Get on the bus and come cheer on your partner (transportation and meal included).
Mont Sainte-Anne has been the home of the UCI World Cup for more than 30 years, and it continues to be so. The greatest cross-country and downhill specialists were there again a week before the QSE for a very competitive World Cup. Follow in their footsteps and go further!
The day begins with the ski lift to the top of Mont Sainte-Anne, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and the mountains of the Côte de Beaupré. The route will take you to the north side with its narrow and wild trails, then back up to the summit to enjoy the Baptême, a divine flow trail. A series of trails, sometimes very fluid, sometimes rugged and demanding, awaits you for the rest of the trip. Quite a challenge in perspective.
This stage promises to be rich in effort and emotion! First, discover the spectacular Maelstrom sector, where the trails follow long granite sidewalks, connected by skilfully carved footbridges, leading to breathtaking views. Then tackle the SDM section, which will drain all your remaining energy with a succession of steady climbs and furious descents.
Welcome to the Shannahan sector, the wild side of the Vallée Bras-du-Nord. Here you’ll discover Quebec’s boreal forest in all its splendor, ride on the granite of the Canadian Shield, and pass spectacular rivers and waterfalls.
From the Bras-du-Nord Valley reception area, the group will ride at a controlled speed to the Batiscan-Neilson recreation area (ZEC), where the cyclists will be released on the Neilson North trail, renowned in the world for its magnificent natural setting. The wonderment will continue along the Neilson South, Tomahawk and Chute à Gilles trails, culminating in the descent of the Legend, a unique trail from which you will discover an incredible view.
